The Kolbo Model
Disclosure first: this is our model — the encyclopedia is maintained by the Kolbo Filter world. It appears here because it is the clearest working example of every principle the previous five entries describe.

The three answers, chosen together
Recall the three questions every filtering system must answer (Entry 001). The Kolbo model's distinctiveness is not any single answer but the refusal to compromise on all three at once:
- What is judged? The content itself — pictures, video, and text, on every app and every network. Address lists exist underneath, but the screen is the subject.
- Who sets the rule? A universal standard: one written law with exactly two named tiers — Standard and Strict — identical for every home that holds them, with the parents inside the rule rather than above it. No per-family forks, no ladder of settings — the sociology of Entry 005, adopted as first principle.
- What makes it stick? The seal: protection woven into the device's life on both platforms — resolving Android's openness problem (Entry 002) and the iPhone's tenure problem (Entry 003) with the same architecture. One parental password is the only key. The mechanics are deliberately private; the outcomes are public and testable.
The fourth choice: what fills the device
The model's least-imitated feature is not defensive at all. A guarded emptiness is still an emptiness — so the Kolbo world pairs the seal with a positive ecosystem: apps built clean from the first line (KolBo.life), so the sealed device is not a smaller life but a full one. Guarding the eyes and filling the hands are treated as one project.
Different in kind, not degree:
not a better fence — a different architecture.
Why "changing the game" is the sober description
Each prior era optimized one leg of the triangle: better lists, better boxes, better apps. The game changes when all three legs are solved simultaneously and the negotiation disappears — when protection stops being a product a family manages and becomes a standard a home simply holds. That is the claim on which this model stakes itself, and the standard by which it invites judgment.
